Siam World Heritage’s Floating Market Experience

While we’ve been writing away here on visiting Every World Heritage Site and all, you may have noticed the odd reference to our current home base being in Bangkok, yes?

Well, today we’d like to introduce you to what we’ve been working on with our delightful Thai partner Kobkaew this last year: the newest Bangkok custom tour service, named just what you’d expect:

Siam World Heritage

Let’s read more about Kobkaew shall we?

Sawadee ka! (Hello!) I’m Kobkaew Patsit, but call me Kat.

I have lived across Thailand from Bangkok to Chiang Mai to Ubon Ratchathani in northeast Isan.

I love fine arts and handicrafts – graduated in sculpture from Khon Khaen University – and cooking, which I learned from my grandmother who was a master chef in Bangkok while my mother sold food in the local markets. I also love traveling and scuba diving; it feels particularly good to help plant new coral reefs in Pattaya.

For the last two years I have been helping my partner Alex host on Airbnb [ED. She’s the reason I’m rated Superhost! — Alex] and delighted in meeting all our guests and making friends from across the world.

That inspired me to get my Tourism Authority of Thailand tour guide license and register my tour company “Siam World Heritage” to give all our visitors the best experiences of Thailand!

We’ve put together a number of tours for the World Heritage Sites and other tourist favorites in day trip range of Bangkok to start —

— and the big news of today is that now you can book the most popular tourist daytrip out of Bangkok, the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and Maeklong Railway Market, directly on Airbnb!

Floating Market & Train Market Daytrip

So now, Dear Readers, you can stay with us in Bangkok and be chauffeured around in Expedition Vehicle Siri luxury while you visit the wonders of the Bangkok region —
