Another week, another #travel1k leaderboard release for the week of September 27th, and we are … up 91 places to #211. Good, good. Not back into top 200, but we’ll see what happens next week when they start counting blog posts, we’ll see what our steady post-a-day pace does to those rankings!

This week we saw the biggest climbs from Goantolondon (up 465 places to 756th), Sangeeta Life is a Vacation (up 376 places to 274th), and A-contresens (up 363 places to 317th).

We welcome our two new travel bloggers TheAdventureMindset (787th), and Nomad Cat(890th). to the #travel1k Top 1000+ Travel Blogs board.

Well done to this week’s top three BonVoyageursStef Travel Photographer, and RoarLoud- Cathy Merrifield.

And our new blog to check out this week is … down from #17 last week to #19: @wanderingwagarsWandering Wagars!

Wandering Wagars

The Wandering Wagars are Kevin and Christina, two working parents who believe that travel is not just a wonderful way to help their family grow, but also an unmatched educational tool to help their two young boys grow both culture and intellect.

We make it a point to travel at every opportunity and when we aren’t traveling, we are talking about it or sharing our stories with others in an effort to encourage more families to travel with their children…

And it’s, yep, a family travel blog, and they are indeed doing an excellent job of that family traveling…

2016 — A Year In Travel

so if you are a family traveler, recommend you follow them … we think. Not an area of expertise around here, the family thing, so things like reviewing car seats and strollers, well we have no idea. But looks good, yep.

Technically, BuiltWith tells us it’s a standard WordPress technology stack as usual; so yep, no particularly trenchant observations to make this time around, family travel is far away enough from anything we’re focusing on around here that we’ll just leave it at check them out if you have a family!
